Spencer Miller



A former Kells junior, Spencer quickly matured to become a first team regular and went on to gain representative honours with the Cumbrian open age team that won the county championship in 1999 and the BARLA U23 side that played the Combined Services in the same year. Spencer signed for Haven during Kevin Tamati's reign at the Recre and made his 1st team debut in April 2000. He played in the National League side that played a two match series against the Super League U21's in 2002 and has represented Scotland in 2003,2004, and 2006.

A serious eye injury sustained on the opening day of the 2006 season threatened to prematurely end Spencer's career, but he battled back to play a key part in last season's play-off games.
