Marc Jackson



27-yr-old Marc joined Haven at the start of the 2001 season after a distinguished career in the amateur game with Wath Brow Hornets. As well as representing the BARLA GB side at U21 & U23 level, Marc represented the GB Young Lions on their tour of Australia in 1997. The highlight of his career to date though has undoubtedly been his inclusion in the England team that clinched the emerging nations championship with a 20-14 victory over Italy in November 2000. A renowned goal kicker in the amateur game he is a fine exponent of the 40:20 kick-to-touch.

Marc, a no nonsense prop who Coach Dave Rotheram tends to use as an impact player of the bench had a couple of brushes with the league's disciplinary committee in 2006.
