Graeme Mattinson



Another member of Wath Brow's victorious National Cup winning teams of 2004 and 2005. Graeme came to the Recreation Ground at the end of the 2005 season after winning the prestigious man-of-the-match trophy in the Brow's defeat of Skirlaugh. Graeme toured France with the BARLA U18 side and represented the BARLA Young Lions on their tour of New Zealand in 2003. In 2002 he represented Great Britain in a three-match series against the Australian Schoolboys.

One of four hookers at the Recre, Graeme has been described by Dave Rotheram as having the best tackling technique at the club. His versatility allows him to cover at loose forward and fullback.
